DreamWorks Voltron VR Chronicles was nominated for an Emmy!
Digital Domain, the renowned LA based company responsible for VFX in leading Hollywood movies for nearly 25 years, produced the exciting Virtual Reality adaptation of the DreamWorks animated serialized hit, “DreamWorks Voltron: Legendary Defender”.
DreamWorks Voltron VR Chronicles, is an interactive narrative that transposes the user into the wondrous and epic world of Voltron. Producers Jaimie Finnerty, Jaime Bencia, Steve Gazda and Rene Hakiki spearheaded the development and design, along with Empyreal Entertainment’s founder Wayne Kennedy, who was the Director of Creative Development.
The experience encapsulates the fun and look of the show and immerses the viewer within a complete virtual environment.
DreamWorks Voltron VR Chronicles is available on PlayStation VR, Oculus and HTC VIVE.

The Monkey King, the 16th century Chinese Mythology has been adapted into a serialized real time VR experience.
Produced by Digital Domain, The Monkey King explores the origins of the legend before the tale known as Journey to the West. This story predates the Monkey King’s war with heaven and before his search for the book of death. It reveals just how a monkey named Wukong became the king of his tribe. In this tale, Young Wukong confronts his own demons before defeating real ones.
The 3D animation experience is an exciting exploration of Virtual Reality storytelling and available on the Play Station VR.

NBA VR
NBA VR takes you up close and personal with NBA legends as they reminisce their hall of fame experiences with host and comedian, Chris Distefano.
NBA VR is an interactive virtual reality series produced by Digital Domain exclusively for the Google Daydream. Then, Director of Creative Development Wayne Kennedy worked in cooperation with the NBA to conceptualize this unique experience. Under Wayne’s supervision, Creative Director Julian Sarmiento and the Digital Domain production team developed this streaming 360 show using proprietary techniques to maintain the stunning visual quality of the live-action footage that is seamlessly integrated into a photoreal digitally created CG environment.
Season 1 showcased NBA legends, Robert Horry, Bruce Bowen, Baron Davis, Shawn Marion, Richard Hamilton, Chauncey Billups, John Salley, John Starks, Gary Payton, and “Big Game” James Worthy.
The NBA VR APP is available on the Google Daydream.
